Neil Harvey has been a staff writer for The Roanoke Times since 2001 and is the newspaper's state courts reporter. He has also covered the night police beat and the city of Salem, and has reviewed movies, books, music and theater for the Times' features section. He is the author of six feature-length film scripts, and his comedy, "Funk 49", was a 2001 finalist in the Virginia Screenwriting Competition.
Heather M. Harvey
Heather Harvey has been a practicing attorney for almost 20 years. She began her legal career as a litigator in Dallas, Texas and presently serves as corporate counsel for a company based in Richmond, Virginia. "Hazel Hollow" is her first screenplay.
